ACCOUNTING 101
Accounting 101 is a basic, menu driven, easy-to-use
accounting program for small business and personal use. Its
most important feature is the ease of entry of the proper
accounts for transactions, the most time consuming part of
any accounting program. You may enter either the account
number or the account name and, if either entry is incorrect,
you are taken to a window where you may select the proper
account entry. Amending the Account file may be done "on the
fly".
It also features a transaction file where transactions
are retained for the whole of an accounting year and may be
recalled by individual account number at any time. Recurring
transactions may be saved and recalled.
Help screens are available from most parts of the
program.
It does not have many of the bells and whistles of more
elaborate programs but it is simple and easy to use. An
installation program takes care of the details of
installation on your system. It does not have a separate
Accounts Receivable module nor a Payroll Module.
The requirements for running the program are an IBM PC
, XT, or AT or compatible with a monochrome monitor, 512 K of
memory and two floppy disk drives.
The following files should be on this disk:
101.exe
Acctfile.bus
